One typically features Asian-inspired flavors and preparations, and the other is Mediterranean in style. It’s anybody’s guess which of the two is behind any one dish, but no matter—everything is sublime. On the Asian side, you might get home-smoked fresh tuna in a light ginger dressing with homemade pickles; on the Mediterranean side, it could be mushroom sausage in a phyllo quiche shell with pesto and Fontina cheese. As for the ambience: The dining room features travertine tile floors, heavy wooden tables, walls of glass, and high peaked ceilings with exposed wood beams. It opens onto a broad patio that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and provides great sunset views. An excellent wine list completes the experience. Open for lunch and tapas."

If you find yourself in Playa Panama craving some really good wine and a nice view of the Pacific, we have just the place. There’s two tasting menus here as well, one that’s focused on Asian cuisine and one that skews Mediterranean. It’s a real Sophie’s choice to have to pick between the two, so we suggest sharing.
