Sunda What Our Friends Are SayingEater: "The 8,000-square-foot Gulch restaurant, Dec’s first outside of the Windy City, has been completely gutted and remodeled, showing no trace of the space’s previous life as an outpost of Mexican chain Cantina Laredo. Design firm Strada, LLC drew heavy inspiration from Sunda’s original location, with the two sharing a number of similarities in terms of finishes and furnishings. The 250-seat interior is wide open for the most part, with views from end to end. The main bar seats approximately 25, with three eight-seat communal tables and a handful of four-tops adjacent to it. Diners can also pull up a chair to the dedicated sushi bar."
