It's big on soul food, with particularly outstanding meaty picks: T-bone steaks, slow-roast kid goat, confit of veal shank with vodka and the like."Frommer's: "Largo São Domingos has established itself as the epicenter of Porto's culinary renovation and this corner restaurant located in a former drug store since 2011 is one of the reasons why. The design is functional, maintaining elements of the 19th-century shop with the walls divided between white tiles and dark wood panels. Antlers mounted on one wall point to a menu where game is a major factor. In season expect to find delights like wild partridge stewed with shallots and peas, or loin of venison with liver and wild mushrooms. There are fish, salad and vegetarian options, but this is a seriously carnivorous hangout."
