The Congress Avenue Bridge is home to the world’s largest urban bat colony (who knew?) and from late March through September the Mexican Free-Tailed Bats put on a nightly show. Stop by around sunset to see thousands of bats head out for their nightly feeding frenzy to fill up on mosquitoes and other insects. Kinda gross, kinda awesome.
