Somehow, this gorgeous beach in Malibu is still kinda a hidden gem. Unlike most of LA’s sprawling sand beaches, El Matador has dramatic cliffs, craggy rock formations and tidepools that are fun to explore during low tide. Come for sunset pics, you won’t be disappointed. Details please: Plan to get here early because the small parking lot fills up quickly and the beach is on the smaller side. There’s also no amenities so come prepared with water, snacks and sunscreen.
