I love to ski. I love everything about it. From early mornings and first tracks to the aprés scene and sore legs. I'll take it all. I also happen to be a pretty big foodie and love to plan trips around places to eat and drink (my other two favorite hobbies). Whether you're hitting the mountain all day or really just in town for the vibes, Park City is a dream destination. Sharing a few of my favorite things to do and places to stay while in town.
For me, this depends on where I'm skiing. I have an IKON pass, so often ski Deer Valley but Park City and Canyons (both on the EPIC pass) are also worth the visit. There are plenty of hotels and home rentals that offer ski-in, ski-out accommodations.
One of my favorite parts about Park City is the charming downtown and vibrant restaurant scene. A few of my favorites places include:
Despite Utah's strict rules around alcohol consumption, there are plenty of places to grab a drink in Park City, depending on the vibe you're looking for!
High West is still one of my favorite places to grab a drink (and apps) in town. Their dinner is pretty good but it's really the cocktails and appetizers (ummm FONDUE?! yum) that stand out.
If it's a dive bar you're looking for, look no further than No Name Saloon for a fun night out (be warned, it's a rowdy crowd but a fun one). If you're feeling a little more bougie, check out the Veuve Clicquot Lounge mid-mountain at Deer Valley.
