As a traveling dog-mom, it’s become a hobby of our friends over at @urbanbirddogs to find the best pet-friendly hotels across America. The days of boarding your dog while on vacation are behind us. Between Well Traveled and these 5 incredible hotel chains, you never have to go on vacation without your fur-friend again.
The Kimpton Hotel chain not only loves dogs, but any pet. If it can fit through the door, it’s allowed inside the Kimpton. With 59 properties and counting in the US, you can find a Kimpton hotel in most major cities. What really sets Kimpton apart from other hotels is how they always go above and beyond for their fur-friends. With pet beds, a curated list of nearby pet-friendly restaurants and parks, and a complimentary dog-friendly happy hour, Kimpton was made for you and your dog.
When you stay with Stay Pineapple, you can’t help but feel joy. With yellow everything, and an array of pup-loving amenities like a high end dog bend, water bowl, treats, and poop bags, your dog will never want to go home. If providing the amenities weren’t nice enough, Stay Pineapple hotels lets you keep the bowl, poop bag dispenser, and treats!
Loews Hotels loves their pets, which comes as no surprise with a program called, Loews Loves Pets. With a one-time service fee of approx $25 (varies by hotel), Loews Hotels will provide your pet with pet mats, food and water bowls, beds, treats, and litter boxes. The best part about Loews? There’s a special room service menu that’s been created for your cats and dogs by vets and chefs.
If you’re looking for a hotel that not only loves dogs, but also has its very own Canine Ambassadors that welcomes guests into the lobby, the Fairmont is your place. We do recommend checking with each Fairmont property before booking, as every property location has different pet-policies.
If you’re looking for a hotel that will give your dog the royal canine treatment, look no further. Hotel Indigo provides welcome treats, doggie beds, and certain properties even have canine residents.
