There's no better place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day than in Dublin, Ireland. Our favorite thing to do was walk around, chat with the locals, and get their take on the area. The Irish have a lot of pride and love for their culture, and it's very understandable why!
If you're looking for a great hotel that's right in the heart of the city, you can't go wrong with the Morrison.
The Morrison is in an amazing location, located along the banks of the Liffey River and just steps away from the Temple Bar and other attractions. There's tons of restaurants, cafes, and pubs nearby, but if you feel like staying in for the night, the on-site restaurant was incredible for dinner. Or, after a long day of pub hopping, room service can really hit the spot. Plus, you can earn Hilton points with your stay!
Dublin is known for it's vibrant bar and pub scene and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. There's something for everyone, from traditional Irish pubs to intricate wine and cocktail bars. You can't miss the ICONIC Temple Bar, known for it's location, hundreds of rare whiskies, and live music. The Church, which is a restored 17th century church that has been converted to a bar/restaurant, is another special spot in Dublin. I would 1000% recommend visiting the Guinness Storehouse, too. It was super cool to learn all about Ireland's famous beer and the Gravity Bar on the seventh floor gave a great view of the city. We took a break from beer and discovered an amazing wine bar with the BEST charcuterie boards at Ely Wine Bar. The Vintage Cocktail Club, on the other hand, is a speakeasy with some of the BEST cocktails, mixologists, and decor. Find the doorbell… and make sure you wait. As for Fitzsimons... let's just say I had a great time.
