One of our favorite things to do when traveling is to discover the cool local murals. What we didn’t realize on our latest trip to Dallas was how many murals we’d discover that were so close to the Kimpton Pittman. With so many to choose from, we’ve curated a list of our favorites just for you.
This mural runs along the entire side of the Electric Shuffle dog-friendly patio. What’s so cool about this mural is that depending on where you take your selfie, you can have bright bold pops of color or light bohemian vibes.
The colorful squares mural was my boyfriend’s favorite mural in Deep Ellum. With its bright pops of color and intricate patterns, it’s the perfect backdrop for my fellow selfie takers.
I am always down for a sweet declaration of love, and this mural is the perfect place for that declaration.
This mural is begging for someone to come along and take a selfie. Once you’ve captured your selfie next to Deep Rawlins, make sure to tag @deeprawlins to be featured.
If this mural doesn’t brighten your day, you might as well go back to bed. It’s a wonderful reminder right outside of Booty’s Street Food to stay on the bright side. If you’d like your selfie featured, don’t forget to tag @FrostBank.
This mural is even more amazing in person. If you are a car lover, you have to stop by this moody urban street art across the street from Booty’s Street Food.
This had to be one of my favorites. The colors mixed with the message of hope were just begging to be photographed.
If visiting when the 4th of July is approaching, this is a bucket list mural for you. After you’ve taken your patriotic photo, pop into Pepe & Mito’s for some delicious tex-mex. What we liked most about Pepe & Mito’s was its laid back atmosphere and spicy salsa.
What’s more Texan than the Texas flag mural on the side of Pepe & Mito’s? You don’t have to ask us twice to take a Texas-themed mural photo.
Pepe & Mito’s knocks it out of the park with their mural displays. This one was so bright and colorful that we were instantly drawn to it.
