Soho Diner is an elevated vintage diner located at the SoHo Grand Hotel serving modern twists on American classics. The vibes here are retro, cool, and contemporary with counter service and outdoor garden seating available. This is definitely one of my favorite downtown spots for a quality weekend brunch, happy hour drinks, or late-night eats (open until 2 am on weekends!)
The brunch menu ranges all over, starting with craft cocktail pitchers and root beer floats to fresh juices & iced oat lattes (my favorite). The bruleed grapefruit is a popular menu item along with the huevos rancheros, vegan banana pancakes, the Soho Burger (with an option to make it vegan), malted waffles, and the baby kale caesar. I had to try the Soho burger and it was honestly better than any diner burger I’ve ever had. The patty was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and served on a potato bun with chopped pickles, aged cheddar & Soho sauce alongside a handful of crispy french fries. SO GOOD.
The dinner menu is equally as impressive consisting of bar snacks, burrata salad, king salmon, NY strip, baked ziti & lamb kabobs. They also have an all-day menu! Besides the food and drinks being delicious, the whole aesthetic is stunning including the outdoor garden (pictured below). Please be sure not to miss Soho Diner, as it’s a NY staple for a quality meal!
Best,
Alyssa
