Launched in April 2024, each hotel has been selected by experts for its extraordinary style, service, and personality.

While the MICHELIN Star has long been the gold standard for restaurants, the MICHELIN Key shines a spotlight on hotels that go above and beyond to create unforgettable experiences. These are not just places to lay your head; they are destinations in their own right, where every detail is designed to delight and inspire.

What sets a MICHELIN Key hotel apart? It's a combination of things: stunning architecture, impeccable service, unique personality, and a sense of place that is truly special. These hotels are not just places to stay; they are experiences to be savored.

Every hotel in the MICHELIN Guide selection is eligible for a MICHELIN Key, from chic city hotels to secluded retreats. Whether you're looking for a cozy countryside inn or a sleek urban oasis, there's a MICHELIN Key hotel that's perfect for you.

And just like with restaurants, MICHELIN Key hotels can earn One, Two, or Three Keys, with each level representing a higher level of luxury. A Three Key hotel is the pinnacle of perfection, offering a stay that is truly extraordinary. While some MICHELIN Key hotels may also boast MICHELIN Star restaurants, the two distinctions are independent of each other. 

The excitement began on April 8th, with the announcement of the Keys in France. This was followed by the United States (Atlanta, California, Chicago, Colorado, Florida, New York, and Washington DC) on April 24 and Spain on April 29th.

Upcoming Key selections will include Italy on May 7th and Japan on July 4th 2024, with additional destinations to launch throughout the year. This global unveiling showcases the finest hotels around the world, inviting you to experience the extraordinary wherever your travels take you.
